ITINERARY: WEEK 1
Day 1: Vancouver
On arrival in Vancouver, transfer independently to your downtown hotel. Unpack your bags as you will spend five nights here, allowing you to truly immerse yourself in this fascinating city.
Day 2: Granville Market Tour
Granville Island is the city’s destination for lovers of food, art, and culture. During the tour, guests will savour a cornucopia of fine foods from independent farmers and food artisans throughout Vancouver and nearby farms, from cheeses to locally-made charcuterie, candied salmon to melt-in-your-mouth doughnuts.
Day 3: Grouse Mountain and Capilano Suspension Bridge
Vancouver is ringed by mountains and rainforest and today you will get to experience both. Start by taking the Skyride up Grouse Mountain, where magnificent views await. Afterwards, continue to the Capilano Suspension Bridge suspended high above the Capilano Canyon.
Day 4: Whale Watching
Hop aboard a high-speed Salish Sea Class Catamaran for a fully guided whale-watching and wildlife viewing excursion departing from Granville Island. Look out for several different species of whales in the wild as well as an assortment of seabirds and other species of marine wildlife.

Day 5: Free day in Vancouver
Your final day in Vancouver is free for you to explore at your own leisure.
ITINERARY WEEK 2
Day 6: Your Road Trip Begins in Vancouver to Sechelt
Pick up your car hire as it’s now time to explore the Sunshine Coast. Drive to Horseshoe Bay ferry terminal to catch the BC Ferry over to Gibsons, a small town that reached worldwide fame for being the setting of the long-running TV show, The Beachcombers. Overnight in Sechelt.
Day 7: Sechelt to Pender Harbour
Travel up the Sunshine Coast Highway to Pender Harbour, a stunning natural Harbour. Along the way, go looking for beavers in the Smuggler Cove Marine Provincial Park or climb Pender Hill for spectacular views over the harbour. Two nights in Madeira Park.
Day 8: Pender Harbour
The day is yours to further explore the central Sunshine Coast. Choose to visit the nearby Skookumchuck Narrows – a strait that showcases the incredible power of nature as rapids and whirlpools are created by the rushing tide.
Day 9: Pender Harbour to Powell River
After catching the ferry from Earls Cove, you will head up to the Northern Sunshine Coast, a region with deserted wide sandy beaches and a thriving arts and culture scene.
Day 10: Powell River to Parksville
It’s time to leave the Sunshine Coast behind and catch the ferry to Vancouver Island. Parksville is your ultimate destination, one of Canada’s best beach holiday destinations.
Day 11: Fly Home
One last ferry journey away before dropping your car off at Vancouver Airport and taking your flight home.
